Update - CBAM

Consultation responses now submitted

Until September 25, all companies in the EU, national authorities, academic institutions, and relevant stakeholders in partner countries outside the EU affected by CBAM have had the opportunity to submit their views on:

  • Rules for calculating embedded emissions in CBAM goods
  • Adjustment of CBAM allowances in relation to free allowances under the EU ETS
  • Deduction for carbon price paid in third countries

The aim is to simplify the CBAM Regulation, reduce costs, create legal clarity, support Member States' implementation, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of the CBAM.

However, there is still a lack of clarity from the EU on two key areas:

  • How third parties outside the EU will be approved to verify manufacturer data
  • Which EU standards CO2 emissions will be measured against

What does this mean for you as an INDURA customer?

  • It means you can continue to trade with confidence
  • We take care of the entire CBAM process – so you avoid extra hassle and customs complications

Flanges with B1 packing surface

A small detail – a big difference

Plate flange with B1 packing surface – when tightness is non-negotiable.

In many systems, a flange is just one component among many.

But when it comes with a B1 packing surface, it makes a real difference.

Our plate flange in stainless steel is manufactured according to EN 1092 and delivered with a B1 packing surface.

A standardized smooth surface that ensures optimal sealing with soft gaskets.

This makes it particularly well-suited for process applications where leakage is simply not an option.

The sealing face is often overlooked – but it’s where the tightness happens.

Do you need advice on which flange solution is best for your project?

We are happy to help you find the right one.

      EPR

At INDURA, we actively work to comply with both current and future packaging regulations. In Denmark, we focus on extended producer responsibility (EPR) and establish systems for the correct registration of packaging data – in close collaboration with our packaging partner.

We are following developments in the EU's upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which is expected to come into force in 2026, and are already adapting our solutions. Our approach is step-by-step and responsible, with a focus on openness, data quality, and collaboration with suppliers and customers.

We are constantly updating our systems and communication, and you are always welcome to contact us with any questions.

Environmental surcharge from January 1, 2026

The environmental surcharge covers the increasing statutory environmental taxes and at the same time ensures investment in CO₂-reducing solutions.

      • The EU's new CO₂ taxes (CBAM) and at the same time switching to suppliers with a lower climate footprint.

      • Increasing transport costs from road tolls and investing in more climate-friendly transport.

      • Increasing costs of producer responsibility, which go directly towards ensuring the reuse and recycling of our packaging.

      • Expanding the work on documenting the environmental impact of products (EPD).
